Lucy works as a Landscaper and joined NVL in early 2023. She enjoys working on various hard and soft landscaping jobs.

Why landscaping?

Landscaping offers a great variety of different tasks, and I enjoy being outside getting my hands dirty while working hard. Another factor is that landscaping gives me the opportunity to learn lots of different skills.

Most surprising thing about landscaping?

The wide range of work. Landscaping is so much more than “just gardening”.

Would you recommend landscaping as a career, if so, why?

Yes! As a landscaper you will have a great skillset and you’ll be able to continue to specialise in anything – It’s a good gateway.

Best thing about NVL?

The team as everyone is very approachable and easy to work with. I also feel well looked after when it comes to health and safety and the team makes me feel appreciated, seen and heard.
