Landscape Architect – Part Time

New Vision Group brings together Nelson Tasman’s leading outdoor design and construction businesses — New Vision Landscapes, NV Design and NV Pools.

We’re looking for a talented Landscape Architect to join our team at NV Design, working approximately 30 hours per week.

NV Design specialises in beautiful landscape architecture, creating refined, functional outdoor environments that complement any home. Alongside our residential landscape architecture services, we also work with the commercial and property development sectors, offer on-site landscape consulting, and deliver full turnkey services through our sister companies, New Vision Landscapes (NVL) and NV Pools.

The opportunity

This is a unique role for a Landscape Architect who enjoys more than just designing from behind a desk.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop creative and considered landscape designs from concept through to completion.

  • Work across a variety of residential, commercial and property development projects.

  • Meet clients and develop strong, lasting relationships.

  • Work closely with our talented construction and pool installation teams to ensure designs are delivered to a high standard.

  • Collaborate with Councils, suppliers and other project stakeholders.

  • Work alongside our Marketing team to help showcase our projects and grow the NV Design brand.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is creative, confident and genuinely passionate about landscape architecture.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA)

  • Experience in landscape design, taking projects from concept through to delivery.

  • Strong documentation and design software skills, with Vectorworks experience preferred.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with clients, NV Group Managers and other project stakeholders.

  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to think creatively when challenges arise.

  • The confidence to represent NV Design, inspire potential clients and help grow our portfolio of exciting projects.

  • The flexibility to work cooperatively with our crews to produce beautifully finished landscapes to design specification.

This is a part-time position of approximately 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8.30am – 5.00pm at our Richmond office.
